My name: Blanik, Magdalena
Drawing with graphite is my passion and for about seven years I
also commit Sloughis to paper. Right, since I myself have one. Why
a Sloughi? One should rather ask oneself, what do I like in my life
and what is my aim? All people, even if many don't want to admit,
long for: peace, harmony, self-possession, love, confidence, self-respect,
characteristical strength, tolerance, intelligence, and for challenge,
aesthetics and charm. My desire is the same, and all this together
you can find with the Sloughi. Out of this uncommon love the love
for Sloughi-Art came into being. My dogs are the inspiration. Orfeo
is my greatest Muse. He is seven years old now and gives me new
impulses every day.
My pictures are about 80 x 60 cm large. Each picture is like each
Sloughi unique. Most important to me are his head and his eyes,
which make the Sloughi such unique. I try to carry out this on carton.
Here I would like to thank all owners of Sloughis who already own
pictures I have drawn.
